Recording with Wyclef Jean
Nadav Nirenberg has firmly established himself as a trombonist, sousaphonist, arranger and bandleader in his hometown New York City.  For the last four years he's toured all over the U.S. and internationally with Streetlight Manifesto, a popular rock/ska/punk group based in New Jersey.  Between tours, Nadav is a highly demanded session player/sideman in the NYC area, having shared the stage/recorded with Wyclef Jean, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Streetlight Manifesto, Wu Tang, Curren$y, Adam Deitch, Ikebe Shakedown, Monophonics, Toubab Krewe, Amadou & Mariam, Clive Chin, Slavic Soul Party, La Excelencia, Rubblebucket, The Pimps Of Joytime, Lionize, Jose Conde, MNDR, Brother Joscephus, Navegante, The Sweet Divines and many more artists.  Recent venues played include the Montreal Jazz Festival, Leeds and Reading Festivals (UK), PukkelPop festival (Belgium), WROS Fest (Brazil, Argentina, Chile) and clubs all over America, Canada, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, England, France, Germany, The Netherlands, and Moscow.

In addition to co-leading "Ikebe Shakedown", a critically-acclaimed Afro-Funk-Soul group, Nadav also leads Breakdown Brass, a Funk/Hiphop/Brass Band.  Nadav is known for his big sound, writing/arranging, sight-reading and versatility, but mostly for his powerful solo style.  He also plays Tuba, Euphonium, Alto Horn (?), sings some backup vocals (baritone range), and plays aux. percussion (shakers, bells, guiros, etc.) And yes, he feels weird about writing in the third person...
